An Overview of Alabama Football Coaches Association
When the first ALFCA Convention was organized 15 years ago, the board of the ALFCA decided that one of the most important aspects of the convention would be strictly social so coaches would have an opportunity to see their peers and just sit and talk. The Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year awards are a great time for the award winners, as the opportunity to be recognized by peers is important.
