An Overview of Rhode Island High School Football Coaches Association
Established in 1899, the RIIL supports interscholastic athletic programs and competition as being a vital part of a student’s academic, social, emotional and physical development. THe RIIL serves as the regulatory agency for high school interscholastic athletic programs and exists to assure quality experiences that reflect high ethical stands and expectations for all student athletes and coaches. The RIIL provides leadership and support for member schools through the voluntary efforts of school administrators, athletic directors, coaches and consultants.
